This email newsletter includes a brief message—because who can read long emails anymore?— from me to you on most Tuesdays in which I share the following:

  1. One thing I’ve made recently

  2. Two book recommendations

  3. Three things worth your time and attention

Subscribers will also be the first to know when new projects are available and receive exclusive discounts as a “thank you” for your presence. It’s not just about what I make and share. I think there are benefits for all of us in creativity, and I hope to encourage you to make things and share them as well! That’s my goal.

Why an email newsletter?

For so many reasons, I want to create a way for us to be in touch that isn’t mediated by social media. An email newsletter is a good way to connect directly, out of the gaze and addictive interface of these corporations. I appreciate the good that these online platforms offer, but it gets harder and harder to abide the harms. Plus, they continue to change their terms and algorithms, which make our communication there more precarious and expensive over time.
